I was at the local farm market today - I only go once a week but have gone
for many years and know the clerks and staff. One of them said 'You've lost
a lot of weight haven't you?' (I have - 60 pounds (approx) in the past 6
months).

Really made me feel good.

Now for the stress test tomorrow and Thursday and a clearance from the
cardiologist to get back to Physical Therapy.

It's always great when someone notices our weight loss.
Congratulations on the 60 pounds and I hope the stress test goes well.

What do your numbers represent below your name? I've seen
starting/current/goal.

That's what those numbers mean. Weighed 335 3/4 the end of November 2005 -
at the doctors office. Last doctors visit I weighed 279 - but was
hospitalized after that and weights were in the 260's - but with no clothes
(except the stylish hospital gowns). I don't know what my 'ideal' weight
should be since I have lymphedema in my left leg and carry at least 30 extra
pounds there. Have not been below 200 pounds in my adult life - except for
two short periods of time when I was in the 190's. Once when I was living
in New York City - in the early 1960's - on my own - walking a lot - and
then again after spending 3 months in a hospital with radiation and chemo
treatments - in the early 1970's.

I went through Schipol Airport (Amsterdam) on Tuesday and the Immigration
Officer yelled very loudly as he studied my picture "Wow, you've lost
weight!" A combination of pleasure and humiliation there!

Thanks Jan. That's what puzzled me - you typed 235 in your first post. I
knew you had lost weight and the 235 just didn't fitg

As for your goal weight I don't think it's necessary to pick one at this
time. Many just wait until they're at a weight they feel is best for them.
