I was at the local farm market today - I only go once a week but have gone
for many years and know the clerks and staff. One of them said 'You've lost a lot of weight haven't you?' (I have - 60 pounds (approx) in the past 6 months). Really made me feel good. Now for the stress test tomorrow and Thursday and a clearance from the cardiologist to get back to Physical Therapy. Jan 235 3/4 - 279? - ??? Congratulations on the 60 pounds and I hope the stress test goes well. What do your numbers represent below your name? I've seen starting/current/goal. Beverly |

Weighed 335 3/4 the end of November 2005 - at the doctors office. Last doctors visit I weighed 279 - but was hospitalized after that and weights were in the 260's - but with no clothes (except the stylish hospital gowns). I don't know what my 'ideal' weight should be since I have lymphedema in my left leg and carry at least 30 extra pounds there. Have not been below 200 pounds in my adult life - except for two short periods of time when I was in the 190's. Once when I was living in New York City - in the early 1960's - on my own - walking a lot - and then again after spending 3 months in a hospital with radiation and chemo treatments - in the early 1970's. Jan Learn something new every day As long as you are learning, you are living When you stop learning, you start dying Thanks Jan. That's what puzzled me - you typed 235 in your first post. I knew you had lost weight and the 235 just didn't fitg As for your goal weight I don't think it's necessary to pick one at this time. Many just wait until they're at a weight they feel is best for them. Beverly |
