Hi Tanukiki,
Sorry that you're going through such a rough time right now. Things will get better. You need to try your best to stay positive and be strong for your family. It's good to hear from you. As Lee said, come back and post more if you get an opportunity.......sometimes all we really need is a little outside encouragement to spark that fire in us to get going again! I too have been lurking as I've fallen almost completely off but I'm trying trying trying to get over this bad time I going through and get back on track soon. Tanukiki "Eddie-Type2" wrote in message ... Hi all, It's been a while since I've posted. I've been in a serious rut since Christmas and unfortunately gained back 20 lbs of the 83 lbs I had previously lost. I've never stopped going to my meetings. Quitting has never been, and will never be, an option for me, but in all honesty I've really been struggling pretty much for quite a while. I'm happy to report that I've been back on track for the last 3 weeks. I lost 0.4, then 1.6, then 2.8 at today's WI. Feeling much better now and in good control. I just wanted to say to everyone. Hello spaceyjane!
Thank you for your words of encouragement. I sincerely appreciate them. Refocusing has been very hard for me since Christmas. I know I have the ability to make the plan work, because I had previously lost 83 lbs. Unfortunately, I think I allowed the "TADA syndrome" to take over and I made the conscience choice to indulge more than I should have. I didn't binge and I never totally went off program, but rather indulged in bigger portions, or the odd chocolate here or there, and before you know it, I gained back 4, 5, 8, 10, 15, 20 lbs!!! It's amazing how fast the weight can come back on! Actually, it's quite scary! Fortunately, my outlook on the situation is a renewed vigor to get back on track and be successfully. Putting 3 weeks together in a row was a psychological victory for me. Acknowledging that I have to do this for the rest of my life is actually very empowering to me. Some may find it depressing, but I personally feel that it is the driving factor behind my determination to win this battle. Eddie Weight June05-359.0lbs Current Weight-291.2lbs Loss to date=67.8lbs Goal Weight-180.0lbs "spaceyjane" wrote in message . .. Way to go Eddie for not stopping the meetings, and for the recent loss!!! That is awesome! You're inspiring in that you're not beating yourself over the head and going on with refocussing your effort. I think we all have times where we feel the full force that "tomorrow is a new day". Enjoy today Eddie! Thanks for posting again and showing us that we all are in this together! "Eddie-Type2" wrote in message ... Hi all, It's been a while since I've posted. Wow, you've lost almost 70 pounds. That is awesome. Keep that in mind
and don't let it get away from you. Audrey "Eddie-Type2" wrote in message news Hi Audrey, I had a long talk with myself 3 weeks ago. There is nothing wrong with my wife or my children or my financial situation or my work situation - so I told myself that there was absolutely no reason for me to be ****ing around like this! NONE! I still have about 15 lbs to lose to get back to my all time low - but I'm focusing on each meal, each day, and trying to lose 1 lbs a week.......I'm in this for life! Hi, Eddie It sounds like you are getting out of your rut. It is so hard to stay focused and easy to get off track but since you've had losses for three weeks, you must be back on track. Hope to hear from you more often. Audrey "Eddie-Type2" wrote in message ... Hi all, It's been a while since I've posted. this is so true, like when I realized I hate water, it tastes nasty it is a
hassle to drink, but I treat it like medicine, I will drink it every day for my health, get it over with and move on, Lee Eddie-Type2 wrote in message ... Hello spaceyjane!
