While at a health food store a couple of weeks ago I bought a good-sized bottle of pure liquid stevia; it came with an eyedropper. I made a pitcher of iced tea (decaf) last week and like an idiot, without reading the directions I squirted three or four droppers full of the stevia in it as sweetener. I had to dump the whole pitcher out; it was so sweet that it was sickening. It's not a sugary sweet taste, but rather a "plant-y" sweet, like mint or clove. It was pow'rful! I learned the hard way that a little bit goes a loooonnngggg way! Turns out that stevia is 300x sweeter than sugar! -- Peter website: http://users.thelink.net/marengo |

Hey Amber. I read another post of yours that said you were in a cooking
class. May I ask what kind of school you attend? Just curious. -- Bear Grrrrrrrrrrrr ) 297/271/210 Highest weight 353 "*AmBeR*" wrote in message om... Can anyone tell me if I can use cornstarch in recipes during induction? Thanks. |

Look carefully at its name: Corn, a grain that is at the top of all glycemic index lists, all food intolerance lists, all carbs as a percentage of weight lists. Starch, purified carb. |
