I take a multi-vitamin,drink herbal green tea, coffee, lots of water.Watching my fat and carb level I was able to lose 55 lbs by limiting my daily calories to 800-1000. My BMI went down from 29 to 22. I never felt hungry because I ate protein rich food and whole grain bread. I really focused on avoiding hunger, and making my food as tasty as possible. A typical menu for a day was: 0830 Breakfast: 1 Banana and a small glass of non-fat milk 100 kcal 1200 Lunch: Two slices of whole grain bread with ham&tomato 200 kcal 1700 Dinner: cour de fillet + glass of red wine with lettuce 400 kcal or: fresh seafood 1900 Snack: 100 kcal of anything 2000 Snack: -""- + Plenty of water, light sodas, coffee, tea Some suggestions: 1) Don't waste your $$$ in herbals and multi-vitamin supplements. Fruits and vegetables are better. 2) There's no reason to avoid red meat. I you fry a cour de fillet stake on a modern pan, using half a spoon of olive oil, the energy density is really low. 3) Although I didn't give up my daily glass of good wine, it's important to remember that alcohol is the fastest route to doubling waistline. 4) Keep your exercise moderate until you've lost considerable amount of weight. Eating less is enough, no reason to make this too difficult to yourself. 5) It's good to avoid sugar and fat because the won't keep your hunger away Good luck in your journey I'm sure you will succeed. Just stick to your plan and use the weight scale regularly, it will make you happy :-) - K. |

Low calorie dieting
The method of measurement is critical. You need a digital kitchen scale and
software like at Fitday. http://www.fitday.com I have no connection to Fitday, except as a download customer. It has been about 2 weeks. Are you still on program? PS: I'm a low carber who also counted calories. 320/153/? "angeldoll" wrote in message ...
