Def. of Obese changed???
I thought obese meant a hundred pounds overweight. Read two articles
where they state being 30 pounds overweight is obese. Which is it? |

Some muckity muck probably changed it (not saying that those are or were the definitions -- but muckity muck change stuff to suit their needs). Still -- what does overweight mean anyway? I think such terms are best defined according to bodyfat percentage. Also, if you think you are extremely or grossly fat, then you can say you're obese, imo. |

WebMD says that a BMI of 25-30 means you are overweight. overweight.. obese.. morbidly obese.. I personally think someone came up
with all those different *levels* for the fat acceptance people.. you know.. all those feel-good things to not hurt anyones self esteem. The ones who say.. "well so what if I weigh 400 pounds... my Dr says I am healthy."
