I saw very few photographs of Dr Atkins. The ones I saw, had clothes
that obscured his body in a manner typical of fat people. It was very
hard to tell whether Dr Atkins was fat, or whether he just wore bulky
clothes. Does anyone have a recent picture of Dr Atkins where his body
type would be clearly discernible?

As for his death, it is also kind of interesting to find out just what
is it that Atkins died from. The story about falling on ice, may be
true, but raises enough questions as to merit looking a little bit
further.

I saw him live on Larry King's show not long before he died, and he was NOT
a fat guy by any means.

I also once fell on ice and hit my head so hard on the pavement that I had
dizzy spells for months, under the care of a neurologist for all that time,
MRI's and all kinds of expense hassle and misery. Yeah, you can
definitely die from falling on ice.

"Atkins is dead. I don't believe that bull**** that he dropped dead
slipping on a sidewalk, yeah right, joked Bloomberg.

Chowing down on huge plate of pasta, Bloomberg ripped into the man who
told dieters to stay away from carbohydrates.

Atkins died last April when he hit his head after slipping on a patch
of ice in front of his Manhattan office.

In the immortal words of Bugs Bunny: "What a maroon." Oh right, Bloomberg
too.

Whoa, I guess I did the right thing by using my hand to break my fall when I
slipped on ice back in '94, better a broken wrist than dead.

Bet your wrist healed faster than my head injury. Truth is that you never
ever really get over a head injury. Trust me, I know. The ice fall was
only one. I also landed on my head years ago in a motorcycle accident.
Fortunately the helmet prevented the worst damage - The ice fall was far
worse.

Undoubtedly, it did. IIRC, it took about 10 weeks in a cast and then a
while longer for the stiffness to completelly go away.

BJ, thanks for your question and this opportunity to witness. I find
that when applying the Two Foot Diet, one must apply "an inch of common
sense". Although one can multiply, I would point out that when doing
so, any errors in measurement will be compounded. Also, the variance
in pea diameter is not negligible. That is why I always recommend
lining them up and measuring the result.

A second reason is that what we are trying to achieve through this diet
is portion control through simplicity. Many people are challenged by
multiplication and give up.

Please notice that I am providing the 2FD free of charge and am
donating all the non-proceeds to "Hypocrites Without Borders". You
will be encouraged to know that I have experienced a 100% success rate
with the 2FD. Of course, I can't release any data, but I'm sure you
will trust me on this... because, if you don't, that would be evidence
of your hatred of me, of the TFD, and of Christianity.

Humbly,
