new products: Heinz Ketchup + GM Total Protein Cereal
Wah! I have been looking for the Low-Carb Heinz Ketchup and hear
that others elsewhere have found it. Has anyone in Massachusetts/New England found it? Has anyone here actually gotten it and tried it? GM has a new LC cereal--Total Protein (flakes) There are 8 net carbs per 3/4 cup. It doesn't contain soy but does contain sugar, maltitol, honey, and brown sugar syrup though. I have just heard reports (one person said it was like cardboard after a few bites, but others liked it) and have not even looked around myself. -- Jean B. |

Darn, they could have left the sugars out and made the net carbs less. That way we could put in the pink stuff and have a much better choice. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |

It always bums me out to see all these sweeteners in LC items. I guess one bit of good news is that the seemingly ever-present high-fructose corn syrup is not on the list! -- Jean B. |

I wouldnt waste my 8 cabrs for 3/4 cup unless it tasted pretty darn good. Then again you have to float it in somehting so there are more carbs. Naw! No thanks but the LC ketchup is something I am waiting for. Carb options has a good italian dressing I tried and it is good. Dnt see the peanut butter or the Lawrys steak sauce yet. We just bought a half a beef and I would kill for steak sauce. I'll wait patiently LOL Laureen http://community.webshots.com/user/hottublar |
