Default Dang Partially Hydrogenated Oils!

They're in every prepared food! I mistakenly didn't look at the bag of
meatballs I bought (though I did check the carb content), because I
thought there couldn't be partially hydrogenated oils in meatballs. Alas,
after eating almost the whole bag, I realized that there are PHO in the
meatballs. That sucks, as these were easy to cook and tasty. This begs
the question as to why they're adding oils like that to meatballs.
Anyway, another lesson learned -- always read the labels, regardless of
what you think should be in there.

Yep. And with all the bad press that PHO are getting these days, you'd
think they'd quit using them.

How did you ride go? Did you do what, 85?

I did 80, figuring that I'd ride the next day, too. Of course, I didn't.
My chain keeps jumping -- I think I kept the old one on there too long.
I've replaced the chain and the rear cassette, but it appears as if I also
have to change the chainrings, dangnabit! Next week is my century, but it
appears as if it might rain (at least that's the current forecast -- which
changes hourly). Riding 100 miles in the rain could suck.

Dang....chain, cassette and chainrings too? I've got 2000 miles on my bike,
I guess I might need to consider a new chain too. I already put on a new
cassette when I put on new wheels.

Yes, even 20 miles in the rain can suck. 100 would be unthinkable, imo.
You'd better not preregister

Too late! I already registered. I would definitely buy 2-3 chains and
measure the ones that you use for stretching. I failed to do that this
year, and now I'm paying the price!

This was an attempted rhetorical joke question Carmen...... sorry it
seemed to go over your head. What does "dang" mean? Get it? It's a slang
expression for those that don't want to say "damn". It's kind of like using
the even milder "darn". If you still don't get it try this:

....and I mean this in the most light hearted way...

Atkins guy, 50 lbs permenently off over 6 years

when you decided to point me to a newbie google page. Let's hug and eat some
meat together? I'll bring the heavy cream if you bring the LC ketchup?
