Carmen, this reminds my latest "experiment" with something different. While
at a health food store a couple of weeks ago I bought a good-sized bottle of
pure liquid stevia; it came with an eyedropper. I made a pitcher of iced
tea (decaf) last week and like an idiot, without reading the directions I
squirted three or four droppers full of the stevia in it as sweetener. I
had to dump the whole pitcher out; it was so sweet that it was sickening.
It's not a sugary sweet taste, but rather a "plant-y" sweet, like mint or
clove. It was pow'rful! I learned the hard way that a little bit goes a
loooonnngggg way! Turns out that stevia is 300x sweeter than sugar!

Hey Amber. I read another post of yours that said you were in a cooking
class. May I ask what kind of school you attend? Just curious.

Induction is simple: If it's not on the list, it does not pass yourt lips.

Is corn starch on the list? Look carefully at its name: Corn, a grain that
is at the top of all glycemic index lists, all food intolerance lists, all
carbs as a percentage of weight lists. Starch, purified carb.

LOL That'll teach you to read the directions, huh. :-) Or maybe
not. Sometimes trial and error has its own rewards. G

Take care,
Carmen

Geez, this makes me feel old!! (I guess I am).
When I was in high school, all girls were required to take "Home Ec.", and
the boys were required to take "Shop." As the bard said (back in my era),
"The Times They Are A-Changin'! "
