My husband's guard unit is part of the Lebanon unit. The 197th FA. I believe
the Lebanon unit is C battery, but that they combined them all for the
deployment. My husband is A battery Berlin. Small world huh?

I been to Dartmouth before to the hospital. Believe it or not when something
happens bad over here, we get shipped to the hospital there.

I am so getting into geocaching this year. I bought my husband a GPS (garmin
rino) and want one so bad. His also has a two way radio and all the guys in
his platoon either want one, or have one already.

beautiful area Patty, dang cold today!! I'm south of Dartmouth college-

what
I call a "diamond in the rough" type of town. I picked up a bargain today
on Amazon A GPS! I want to go geocasting with my DH! Actually it's his
birthday present, I just love to spring these new ideas on him.

I lived in NH for the last ten years or so. Even when I moved out of

state
it wasn't far away. I am only two towns from North Conway!!

Yes, North Conway is good- I live tax free here in NH. You have to get

to
the outlets at the right times- That day in Freeport was a dream day,
everything was on clearance (May), the next trip wasn't as good.

We lived in Lancaster Pa, before here and that is outlet heaven too.
Favorite store was Famous Brands, where I got Lands End and LL Bean

shirts
for $7. The best bargains in Lancaster were little known places. If

anyone
is in Pa, I'll share my favorites.

I'm about 2 hrs from Kittery also.

North, south or west?? If you love the outlets in freeport, try the
outlets
in North Conway, tax free.

I've delivered the Armory's mail before. Those were my stomping grounds till
I cut my territory to Claremont- I live minutes from work- reducing stress
is great.

My husband had a heart valve replacement at Dartmouth- man...state of the
art hospital- looks like a mall-even has a food court and shopping. If you
have to go anywhere this would be it....but we will all hope to stay far
away! lol.

My military training is all Air Guard. I'm thankful I never got deployed,
besides for the annual stuff. .Hubby was the active one in the army (odd
couple), He is the reason I got to be the world traveler.I hope we can
finally stay put.

There are several caches in the area- for geocaching, No surprise-The
Dartmouth crowd is very active - some of our Olympic ski team was from here,
so, If your not active here, you feel guilty.

I love the North Woods where you are. We were touring up there this summer
looking for moose and bald eagles. I've seen 3 eagles right her along the
Conn river.

Gosh I've got to get away from this computer. I have a small program called
"say the time" installed to remind me what time it is...also how much time
has past while I sat here.
