Went through the collection today of old and newer ones to find ones I want
to keep doing to alternate with running days. I would rather run daily, but was told not to and I can see why because by the third straight day the legs are sore. I found my old Jane Fonda stuff and watched it for a laugh. I don't have enough room to do the dancey kinds of routines (grapevines are out) and those outfits!!! I remember doing Jane Fonda's aerobics on a 33 1/3 LP along with the book. Anyway, I found my Susan Powter video (Burn Fat & Get Fit) and did it this morning and enjoyed it. I also have the beginner's Tae Bo which I am still working on though it's a bit high impact for my taste. I like variety so I'm looking for more step aerobics with toning routines to do a decent 45-ish min workout in the morning. I'd like another video or two that is going to kick my ass. I went to Collage Video but their selection is so huge I have no idea what's decent and what isn't. I want something difficult in a fun way (not necessarily complicated). Videos I'm considering a Mindy Mylrea's Awesome Intervals Denise Austin's Ultimate Fat Burner The Firm's Calorie Killer or Super Cardio Anyone have these? I'm open to other suggestions. Jennifer |

Super Cardio is an older tape (1999) and is a re-cut of earlier tapes, while Calorie Killer is recently-released (May '03) and contains all original routines. Unless you mean Super CardioSculpt. It really sux that they have two tapes with such similar names. I have Super CardioSculpt and it is a killer, as compared to the other routines of theirs I have, at least as it pertains to cardio. No heavy weights -- it's all movement, choreography. I'm looking for more step aerobics with toning routines to do a decent 45-ish min workout in the morning. Personally, I'd recommend Super BodySculpt for that spec. -- ¤bicker¤ "It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring." - Carl Sagan People are, of course, welcome to place whatever irrelevant limitations on their ability to enjoy something that they wish. |

I am a step junkie and for a good workout I love Kristen Kagen's Step This
Way. I bought it at collage video and I love it. It is a very good workout but not for the beginner. I got a copy of Denise Austin's Ultimate Fat Burner (on sale or else I wouldn't have purchased a Denise Austin video) and I was not impressed. Petra Kolber is another good step instructor and she is a good start for the beginners. "Jennifer Austin" wrote in message ... Collage has it as part of a 6-video package ($74.95) with Lower Body Sculpt I & II, Super Cardio Sculpt, Cardio Sculpt Blaster, & Body Sculpt Blaster. I guess that would be plenty of variety and I'm considering this. Also I was wondering, I have a 7" step. Is that high enough to take the place of the "fanny lifter"? If not, DH is going to make me a new one. Jenn |
