Default Ruby Tuesday Adds Low Carb Menu

The restaurant chain "Ruby Tuesday" has added a low carb menu, that
lists carb counts.

http://www.rubytuesday.com/whatsnew/default.htm

Their entree plates range from 7 - 24g... with many in the 8 - 12 range.
That's for a protein and side dishes.
They have LC side dishes like mashed cauliflower.
They even have an LC cheesecake for dessert at 9g carbs.

The world may be beginning to change!

Next time I get a chance to go out to dinner, I'll try there....

It takes me to a page that says: "Welcome to Smart Eating"... you click
on that and then click on "Low Carb Menu".

Default Ruby Tuesday Adds Low Carb Menu

Their "Low Carb Fajitas" list 22 - 24 grams of NET carbs per serving.
http://www.rubytuesday.com/SE/pages/SE_LCM_AD_3.5.htm

I also have to wonder about "low carb quesidillas"

But the main dishes look GREAT!

Of course, now we can expect cauliflower prices to skyrocket. g

Default Ruby Tuesday Adds Low Carb Menu - other restaurants too

One of our favorite restaurants in Point Pleasant, NJ is The Lobster Shanty
(or it's sister restaurant next door, The Wharfside). My sister and her
husband went there for lunch a couple weekends ago, and my sister found they
had added SF jello with whipped cream to their dessert menu. Sounds like an
LC move also, and the restaurant itself is quite LC-friendly. Mostly
seafood, and they serve a "bottomless" antipasto salad as first course as
well.

Why is all of this happening at EAST COAST CHAINS!? C'mon,
image-conscious West Coast! Start demanding your LC! ;_;

Default Ruby Tuesday Adds Low Carb Menu & the tortillas

They aren't just east coast we have them in Arizona too. Several of my
family and friends have tried the low-carb menu there and it is great. Lots
of selection and the food is good. One thing we all wonder about is the
whole wheat tortilla and how many carbs it has.
