What exactly did you expect?...Meetings become boring when people don't
participate...If I could have done this on my own I would have since I
couldn't I joined...Why did you join?...Maybe your expectation level was
unrealistic...It seems you just really didn't give it a chance...GG

I found the first meeting I went to to be pretty boring and not very
informational. Granted I know it's just one meeting, but....at $11 a pop,
I expect to come away with something I can use.

Debbie
P.S. Love your name. LOL

what he said, and the written materials from the first 12 weeks are well
worth the money in my book, Lee, blessed with a great leader

if you are counting calories you aren't doing WW and don't need the slider,
Lee, thinking a website with calories for exercise might help you more

They aren't supposed to.. since we know that people are trying to do
exactly what you're trying to do.. come once, get the whole thing, then
bail out.
Will~

If I can lose it on my own counting calories why should I pay to go to
meetings? To line WW pockets? Their stuff is not free. I've paid good

money
for their products and I subscribe to WW magazine, so I'm not bailing out

of
anything. But to pay $33 for a slider on activity points is ridiculous.

Since you can do it on your own, you can research how to calculate
activity points too. Here's a start http://tinyurl.com/fzxou
Best of luck.

Thanks Audrey. You'll never believe this, I already had that link and even
wrote it down. Geesh! I could've avoided all this.

Oh I see. You don't pay $11 a week for meetings and you get bashed in here.
Never mind that I pay for their materials, food, and magazine. It's just
that you all expect me to go to meetings every week, too. I see. Thanks for
all the help.

Probably true Lee. I don't really need it that bad since I don't count APs
anyway (was just trying to be a participant in here and ask a question).
I've lost weight on diets before that were not WW. Calories in vs Calories
expended. WW does not have the copyright to that.

not at all, its just that if you want what they have to offer you have to
pay for it, if you can do it on your own you are better than me for sure,
Lee

very true and if I could have done it on the dozen others I tried I would
have stuck there, this is one of those deals where you have to find what
works for you, for some that is WW for others it is calories, and for others
it is a strict NO list, I am always happy for more participants, Lee, hoping
you do lose on whatever plan you choose

Sorry about earlier post Gary. Got a little defensive since I felt like I
was getting ganged up on. I am gonna join after I lose about 40 pounds
(which I know I can do cause I've done it several times before with and
without WW). I want it to stay off this time so I will join on down the
line. I just don't want to pay for what I already know how to do. The last
20-30 is what I will need help with.

I expected a little bit of liveliness at the meeting and more participation
actually, a few helpful hints or a recipe or two. I expected people to laugh
a little and have fun. The friend I went with slept thru the whole thing.

I thought of going to the other meeting that's close by but was told that
that leader posts people's progress in her church bulletin, so she's out of
the picture as a leader for me.

Debbie
