Hi low-carb guys naq gals!

I've been lurking a few weeks and now I am finally ready to make my first
post! I hope I can enjoy your support, and I can support you, too!

Anyway, I have been battling my weight almost my whole life, it seems. Up
until now, no matter how little I have eaten I have just kept on gaining
weight, or certainly not losing any. Low carb is starting to work for me!
Since the low carb ways I have learned from the group have helped me, I
want to help you!

This is a way I have found helps reduce your appetite. It's perfectly safe
and natural. What you do is, smell your belly button! Of course, you're not
an elephant with a long nose no matter how much you weigh! No, what you do
is, you stick the tip of your finger in your belly button, and then smell
the finger tip. It's a weird smell and if you smell it whenever you get
hungry you will not feel hungry! It also works if you smell your wrist
under your watch.

Does anyone else use this technique? Give it a try!

Hugs!
Kisha

My wrist smells like dog slobber, like the rest of my arm at the moment!
(see OT happy hound days thread for the explanation!)

Poke a soapy washcloth in your bellybutton, and it won't have a stink to
kill your appetite.

LOL I'm sure it does work! Fortunately my own laziness is my best appetite
suppressant - I can't be bothered going and fixing something to eat, so I
just drink lots of water until it goes away again!

Yeah, the old girl, Murphy is a lab cross and the new girl, Elly is a
newfoundland. Both gorgeous clowns! I've just been messing about in the back
yard with them playing with sticks, balls and the hose. For Murphy the game
is not to get squirted with the hose, for Elly (spot the water dog) the game
seems to be stick your head in the stream and try and catch a mouthful!!

Actually, a recent MIT study found that bad smells actually induce
hunger cravings, and good smells reduce cravings. Also, study found
that chewing peppermint while working out will help you prolong your
exercise. Try it.
