First I have someone ask me if I had been suffering from a 'grave
illness' (yes a disease that made me lose 50+ lbs of fat!) and then
today one of my friends told me that two people had asked her if I "was
doing crystal meth or what!?" Now those are true signs that I am
having some success with weigth loss and fitness! ;-)
BRILLIANT~~~ Going to do my once a month weigh in next Tueday so
hopefully that will be another Truimph!

Well at least it didn't bury you! My friend has crash dieted herself
down by 23 poinds. Irony as she heads an alternative health org. I
regrained from telling her she looks drawn and tired because she has
hit the expected plateau and is contemplating her next strategy. To
make things worse she is a vegetarian and eating very little.
As for me, it's a different story. I have budged a lowly 1/2 pound and
will just have to be patient and perservere.

D,

Congratulations.

Are you old enough to remember the days when doctors prescribed
benzadrine and dexadrine and other amphetamines for weight loss!?!?
Before diet systems were thought up? I have a good friend who went insane
from smoking crystal meth. Schizophrenic. Oh God, the personalities in
his head I've had conversations with. Scary, but I still love him like a
brother. The stupid idiot. Scraped off ALL the popcorn ceiling texturing
in his apartment claiming they contained microscopic cameras. Bright guy
at one time. Decisions, decisions!

Tuesday's Triumph is only five days away.

D,

That is a great feeling, isn't it? I am so happy that your efforts are
getting noticed! Just wait until a stranger that sees you on a regular basis
stops you on the street and comments! Those I think mean a little more
because it's someone you don't know that notices...

Keep up the great job! Can't wait to hear about the weigh in!

Before diet systems were thought up? In the mid 1940's i was on both,
lost 25 pounds in six weeks and was on the phone compulsively all the
time. i wound up with bronchial pneumonia and was in bed for the next
six weeks.

Diva

Amphetamine psychosis isn't schizophrenia.

Just sayin'.
