George,

Have you tried the diet for 2 weeks without artificial sweeteners, sweet
beverages, dried milk, skim milk, or apple juice? Have you tried avoiding soy
sauce for 2 weeks?

How do you prepare your tomatoes and in what quantity?

I suggest that you try this:
Eat beef, chicken, fish, eggs, oil, butter, mayonnaise, lettuce, string beans,
peppers, cauliflower, cabbage, a little broccoli, an occasional slice of
tomato, an occasional ounce of cheese, water, plain tea or iced, seltzer or
perrier.

You might also add other poultry, other meats such as pork and lamb, many kinds
of lettuces, spinach, radishes, scallions, mushrooms, herbs and spices, which
add amazing flavor in endless variety, and experiment with flavorful oils such
as sesame.

Here's to your health!

In loving support,
Bridget M.

I agree, except that I eat whole tomatoes. For instance, one large (3"
diameter) tomato has only 6 effective grams (8-2 fiber) carbs and only 38
calories.
