MU_cus steps in it again WAS: Where are all the thin poeple from Atkins first book?
Bob, Bob, I wrote a lot of that below but I couldn't even begin to follow all that flurry. On Wed, 11 Aug 2004 02:44:40 -0400, Bob (this one) wrote: I know. That's why I did all that clarification for you. Just to help you get your thoughts in some adult order. Think of it as a public service. Do you really think that I would even try to read all that crap? On Wed, 11 Aug 2004 02:44:40 -0400, Bob (this one) wrote: No, I didn't really think you would or could. Then enjoy pleasing yourself with yourself. |

Those that fail using the Food Pyramid, Low Fat and Low Carb all fail from not controlling portions. Calories consumed = Calories burned. Almost. Calorie consumed = Calories used + Calories stored (where Calories stored may be zero or a negative value) Or were you trying to convey that ideally the amount of calories consumed should equal the amount of calories used? The latter. To put it in your terms, one can't consume more than one uses or else one will store. |

Where are all the thin poeple from Atkins first book?
If these plans worked in the long run, the release of new diet books wouldn't even be necessary. The followers would have actually been capable of maintaining weight loss by eliminating high carbohydrate foods for over 25 years. Their long term weight loss success stories would have spread worldwide as the cure to obesity. Paradoxically, as more and more diets appear, the weight loss industry continues to get richer, and America continues to grow fatter. Not the fault of the diet but the dieter.
