Default Eating slowly

Is it true that eating slowly can help you get satisfied by eating less food
and lose weight?

What can I do to keep the food from getting cold?

Do HEAT RETENTIVE PLATES really work? (preheat one minute, stay hot for 30,
handle by the rim which remains cool?)

Where can I buy them?

Yes it is true that you will get full if you eat slower..........I have
tried it. You keep your food warm by only putting a little bit on your
plate...then if you still want more after taking at least 15 or 20
minutes to eat that plate....have another very small plate. This way it
will stay warm.

You eat slowly by chewing slowly, it works! I have tried it.

Only indirectly and only if you listen to your body. When you eat, it
takes about 20 minutes for you body to tell you that it's full. If you
take longer to eat, it allows that time to pass.

No only eating slowly, but eating the right food too.

I was able to lose 10 lbs in 2 months by eating more fruits and less snacks.
The next 10 lbs seems harder to lose.

It's conventional wisdom so it may be true for lots of people. I
have tried it both ways and it has no effect on how much I eat.
It's also supposed to increase how much you enjoy a meal as
well. Again I've tried it both ways and it doesn't for me. Yet
another demonstration that everyone is different.
