Default Nice Reader Review of Taubes Book "Good Calories, Bad Calories"

There is a nice reader review on the Taubes new book at:

http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=349689

It boils it down to 10 points of view developed by Taubes review of the
research papers he discusses.

Hardly anyone pays attention to dietary effects on the rest of the
endocrine system yet.

Surely, someone on this newsgroup has gotten the book by now and can do
a better job of responding.

Not yet. I've got it on reserve at the library so will have it soon though.

Coupled with quite negative reactions pointed at those who do
pay attention to other hormone feedback loops. Heck, even
paying attention to glucagon tends to draw flames.

Insulin, glucagon, T3, leptin, cortisol. Each with progressively
fewer studies about fat metabolism, or at least fewer studies
that get applied to nutrition.
