Default SlimWiches?

I found Healthy Choice caramel ice cream sandwiches at my Costco
(Winnipeg). The cookie part is vanilla, not chocolate. There's 16 in
the package, and I can't find the bill but seem to recall they were in
the same general price range as the Cows. They work out to 3 points
each, and I have to say that I think I like them better.

Ah, but you see, I live in Canada. Costco (or anything else for that matter)
isn't quite as affordable here. Well, health care is, but that's for another
message board. In short, most things are more expensive here. Try 85 cents a
litre for gas...and people wonder why I don't have a car...

It was actually 18 sandwiches for $12.89, not 15. We tried another one
tonight, and the sandwich part isn't really chocolatey - I don't think I'd
identify it as chocolate if I couldn't see it was brown. They're not bad,
but not something I'm going to rave about.

I thought that I paid something like $10.00 for 18 skinny cows at
Costco two weeks ago????

Anybody tried these? Found them at Costco, significantly cheaper than

Cows - $12.89 for 15 ice cream sandwiches, and they're three points each.
I've just tried one, they're pretty good. I so rarely have ice cream now,
they're a nice treat. I had hoped the sandwich part would be chocolatier
though. Fudgesicles seem to satisfy my chocolate craving, for only two
points...

I can't help with the Skinny Cow ingredients, but I can help with the
translations. Splenda equals Sucralose. Nutrasweet equals

aspartame.

I might be wrong but the ingredients you are reading are in fact
splenda,
I
can reask DH but the splendia is a brand name of the product that

is I
think
sucrolose SP that is splendia, like nutrasweet is the brand name

for
aspertaine sp? I might be wrong but don't think so, Lee

The Klondike contain spenda - right?

The Skinny cow do NOT but contain various sugars according to the
label I just looked at, I believe.

I think, UNFORTUNATELY, that they are TERRIFIC (G)

They do not taste artificial from my perspective. Like

Richard,
they
are generally about $5.00 (US) for 6 sandwiches and they are

on
sale
occasionally. Last week, $3.50.

I tried one of the other brands that used, I think, Splenda

and
did
not like them at all, it might have been Klondike??? It did

have
an
aftertaste.

Oh, Costco had an 18 pack (3 packages of 6 items) for around
$9.00
(US) Chocolate and Vanilla

I did not find actual ingredients but may have missed them but
they
do
have nutritional info.

I read several posts about this here, they sound terrific. So

I
checked
'em
out at the local Sobeys the last time I went grocery

shopping,!
Didn't
try
them though - here in Halifax, Nova Scotia, it's nearly $7

for
five
of
them!
I left 'em there and got fudgesicles instead.

So tell the truth folks - are they really worth it? My

husband
really
likes
ice cream sandwiches, so he'd probably like those. But over

$1
each,
yikes!
I might try Costco and see if I can get a better deal

there...
