BY HIS OWN STANDARDS I FIT INTO THE 2 POUNDS/WEEK CATEGORY.

Please, please, please learn from your previous experiences then. What
actually happened in the past? There's a reason you're restarting.
What happened? How fast did you regain?

In the Atkins books there's a discussion of suseptibility. Understand
that high suseptibility means both "easy come" and "easy go".

Earlier I did the discussion of one bite hurting. How hard it is to
figure out "One bite of what?".

A bite of a specific food that is a binge trigger for you? Some of us
have them some of us don't. They have trigger immediate binges or they
can push us down a slippery slope. It is important to count the
discovery of each one as a victory. Beat yourself up over a binge and
it sets up a damaging precedent.

A bite of food above a specific glycemic load? Happens for some of use
not for others. Has to do with insulin reaction. Again it is important
to count the discovery of it as a victory.

And yet not taking that bite of the food on the next rung on schedule
has its own set of problems. Decreasing mood from cortisol. Decreasing
metabolism from T3 and leptin. The concept of CCLL is to avoid these
down sides and also to discover the upper limits. "One bite of what?"
is in both directions. It's the puzzle of low carbing that it's not no
carbing. It's the puzzle of Atkins that you need to exceed your limits
to find your limits.
