I'd be willing to bet money that one could find more than 27 people
right
here in this newsgroup who have maintained a 30-pound weight loss for a year
or more.

Count me in.......I've been at goal weight for much longer than a
year. Maintenance wasn't easy at first, but it was workable. And very
much worth the effort.
