Hello to all. I've been periodically checking into this group and it
seems like most people here are nice and quite supportive. I embarked
on a new WOE a little over a month ago. I've been using the method of
trying to make smarter choices when eating, and slowly but surely
picking up on the exercise thing. I've been using a piece of software
called DietPower, to log my eats & drinks, as well as track my
exercise. It seems like it is helping me more than just trying to
wing it on my own. Has anyone else used it with any success? I'm
about 30 days in, and I've dropped 8 lbs. so far from my original 240.
My current goal, which I may or may not have to revise, is to get
under the 200 plateau in a 6 month time frame. I'm a 34 year old male
who stands 5' 11". Does this seem realistic, or too drastic?

Hi! I also use diet power to log my foods and such. It is a great program
and you should have success with it. I just upgraded to v4 so I can set
my maintenance numbers. I couldnt do that with my older version. Congrats
on your lifestyle change. I know you will do great.
The only thing I dont like about pre v4 dietpowers are that It didnt
take in account that I only weigh in once a week. So it would drop my
metabolic numbers daily when I logged my weight as staying the same. v4
is great. IF you dont have it you may want to think about upgrading.
