I consider it pretty miraculous that you maintained with all that stressful
stuff going on in your life! Excellent job, Lee!!

Prayers to you and your brother.

Although with all that's going on this really doesn't seem to be the right
time in your life for adopting another kitty (or maybe that should read "to
be adopted by another kitty"), there's nothing like kitten antics to give
you a smile or a laugh when you really need one.

oh man, at least I didn't gain, stayed the same, this is a minor
miracle considering everything that has happened this week, 2 night in
hotels, traveled about 400 miles in car, 3 days restaurant food, niece # 2
is asking for life advice, Niece # 3 is 16, expecting a child in Jan. not
married and just quit school, her father my brother just diagnosed with
kidney cancer and will have gall bladder removed at same time as cancer
surgery, is brittle diabetic so they want to take as little of kidney as
possible, and this morning, DH found another throw away kitten that needs
us, best of luck to everyone this week, Lee

thank you for the support, I need it. The kitten will only be a foster, we
currently have five and that is the legal limit for the town where we live,
why they can say how many animals one has in their own house is beyond me
but that is the law so we will either take him to the shelter or foster him
until we can find a home that is suitable. The last time this happened the
kitten was so smart he was one day from me trying to get him into a service
animal program but the right person came forward to adopt him, Lee

You certainly had a rough week. My thoughts and prayers are with you
concerning your family members. Enjoy the little critter while he/she lives
with you. It might just be the thing to brighten up your day. Good luck next
week.

thank you, He is very cute, and so far the other residents haven't thrown a
fit. Miss Violette is a little cranky, but they are in fact enjoying the
two newly put together litter maids, and so are we, Lee, hoping he doesn't
tell me his name

minor miracle you didn't gain.

Your minor miracle this week reminds me of a line from the movie
"Bruce the Almighty" with Jim Carrey and Morgan Freeman: Be the
miracle. Even with everything going on, you managed to work a miracle
and not gain.
