Frozen chicken breast and George Foreman Grill

Anyone know how long this is supposed to take? I have a 4oz frozen chicken
breast that's been on there 15 minutes so far and it's still very under
cooked. The book says 9 minutes, but that must be for thawed out. I'm
worried I'm going to to over cook the outside.

Thaw it out first and 9 minutes will be more than enough.

Are you sure the grill is plugged in? Is the light on?

Did you warm up the grill?

I cook frozen chicken breasts on my indoor grill quite often - they're done
in under 10 minutes no problem.
The only times it doesn't happen is when somebody unplugged the grill and I
didn't even notice because I still hear the timer counting. :)

Yep, it was all warmed up and turned on. It ended up taking like 25 minutes
to cook all the way through. I wonder why it took so long?

Yeah, I was considering that with the amount of time it was taking. It
ended up taking like 25 minutes before it was done.

Is it safe to cook chicken breasts from frozen? I was always told to thaw
chicken first.

The grill is faulty and not getting hot enough?

Hen.

Why wouldn't it be safe if you cook them until they are done? I think
that is the issue to be sure they are done. It takes longer to cook if
you do it this way. I usually pop them in the micro for the defrost
cycle then in the Foreman.

If I forget to thaw it out, I usually go ahead and defrost it in the
microwave before grilling.
