Natural Appetite Suppressant

Hi,

Am new to Goggle so apologies if this question has been asked before.

I am looking for a Natural Appetite Suppressant that I can buy over the
counter at a pharmacy or online at a good website.

Anyone know of a good brand name or something they've used that they
know works?.

If there were such a product that worked and was safe, none of us would be
overweight. I doubt there is anyone who reads this group regularly that
uses any such suppressant. We try to eat a sensible diet that naturally
suppresses our appetites. Here's a site I found that gives some tips on
appetite control I'm sure you'll have better luck with them than you would
from anything you can buy over-the-counter. You want to take extreme
caution if you do find something to buy - not everything out there is safe.

This is not what you are looking for, but you *can* get it at the
drugstore.

Put a blue light bulb in your refrigerator. It gives everything a
ghastly unhealthy glow and you may be less tempted to eat.

Years ago we were moving out of a rental house when the light bulb in
the frig died about a week before the move. Not wanting to spend
another dime, we scrounged up the only correct wattage bulb in the
house and it was blue. It's pretty effective in the short term!

Once my daughter goes to college in the fall, I may try it again.

A real answer but one you won't like - Brocolli.

Pills can't change our habits and so there can't be a pill that works.
Stop taking that pill and gain it all back if the pill even works, so
you
would have to take that pill for life. No pills are magic like that.

So find a way of eating that doesn't make you hungry. Sounds
simple, seems impossible. Low fat works for some, low carb for
others. Or carefully lowering calories but not too much works
as well. Pills, none of them do.

Well, actually, if you drink a high fiber substance such as flaxseed
meal stirred into warm water, it will make you feel full and not want
to eat as much.

Aroma therapy uses the scent of honeysuckle to suppress appetite.

Or eat an apple cut in half and spread with chunky peanut butter. The
apple contains pectin, which suppresses appetite and the fat and
protein in the peanut butter will help you feel full. Chew it slowly
to get the full effect.

I find that a nice whole grain, low-sodium, low-fat cracker spread with
a teaspoon of spicy hummus can stop my carvings for sweet things.

There are many herbs you can try. I will look them up for you.

Exercise. An hour of aerobic exercise will suppress your appetite for about
an hour.

Fiber. It fills you up and makes you stop eating quicker.

Water. Lack of fluids is one of the top three reasons people falsely think
they are hungry.

Sleep. If you don't get your 8 hours per night, your body fails to produce
leptin, an appetite suppressing hormone, and it increases its production of
ghrelin, an appetite promoting hormone.

Oh yeah I forgot the latest one.

Breakfast.

Clinical studies are showing that people who binge at night get relief if
they eat breakfast.
