Shelf lives of DaVinci syrups.

Does anyone know how long the DaVinci sucralose-sweetened syrups last? I
think I have some that may be a couple of years old, and am not sure if
they're safe.

Thanks, Rosie.

I called up DaVinci, and they said that the syrups last two years from
the date of manufacture, which is stamped on each bottle on the neck, a
bit above the label.

They use a four number code, eg XYZA plus a few other numbers, for the
date of manufacture.

XYZ = The date in the Julian calendar, from 1 to 365, where 1 would be
January 1, and 365 is December 12 (366 in a leap year, natch).

A = The year of manufacture.

So 0014 would be January 1 2004.

So, uh, there you have it.
