Hi
Im 29 (big 30 in a few weeks) and looking to lose around 4.5 stone. I'm 5ft and 13 stone. I've done Slimming world before but really need support to get through it and kind of give up if i don't go for a couple of weeks. I'm a total chocoholic but having moved to the country and can't drive i'm in the perfect position to cut it out (if i can resisit when we go shopping once a week)
Exercise was my biggest problem but the arrival of our new puppy 4 weeks ago has also given me an excuse to get out and about.
My husband also gave me another incentive today of a holiday to Tobago when i reach a size 10-12 and feel comfortable in a bikini (i'm 16/18 at the moment) Its going to cost him because i want to go to Tobago!
I could do with someone whos in the same situation as me who can give me some support and i'll support right back. I know what i should be doing with food and exercise its just the push and someone to turn to if i feel the need for something bad ( I've made chocolate cake before from chocolate drinking powder when i'm desperate - sad i know)
If theres anyone out there that would like a diet buddy let me know, I'm not working at the moment as i'm managing a self build so i'm around most of the day if you need any help.
Thanks

Hi Elaine,
Why not join us on the group? You'll find lots of support and information
and there's usually someone around to quickly offer support when needed. A
few of us post daily food & exercise posts that help to keep us on track.

Are UK sizes the same as in the US?

Here's just one of many size conversion charts. The US and UK have
similar but not identical sizings.

In general the UK ones are about two sizes smaller, so that a UK 16/18
would be a US 12/14. (Note that these sizes have only even numbers,
so the difference between 16 & 12 is two sizes, not four.)

It seems to me weight loss goal may be a bit ambitious. I think
60+ lbs coming off a US size 14 would result in underweight.

From what you said about BMI, your weight loss goal makes more sense.
I am assuming you are quite tall and you should realize that BMI isn't
the best of measures for taller or more muscular folks. Best of luck!
