Hi all, sorry I couldn't post today, very very busy here and will
probably be that way the rest of the week. Nothing bad, just assorted
appointments keeping me away from the machine. And I'll spend the
whole day out of town today.
I'll do the update next Monday!
Hope every one is keeping busy! The extra activity is helping me...
I'm focussing more on realizing that eating "goodies" will mean more
work to burn them off... so I'm mostly NOT eating goodies and being
very good on eating. And trying to be active!
Had a little bit of a problem with my back this week, so not as active
as last week, but still walking, still working out.
So far, for me it has paid off... I'm down to 245 from 247.5.
And I completed a third star.

Congrats on the loss, Cynthia.
I'm quickly falling behind on my exercise due to the back problems. I think
I'm ready to resume walking on the treadmill and intend to give it a try
tonight. Any thing that involved bending is still out for at least a few
more days.

Thanks. Don't overdo... that was my mistake with my back.
It's hurting a bit again today... having driven to Minot to get the
car winterized (it's still under warranty, so I go to the dealer), I
decided I wanted to go to the mall (any change from Wal-Mart being
good) and I wanted an opportunity to check on actual items before I
order and have his family order, things for George for Xmas.
I ended up walking around for FOUR SOLID HOURS. I counted it as 2
hours for the challenge, since it wasn't my usual pace. But my back
sure felt it as well as my poor feet and ankles!
It's 270 miles round trip, so I don't do it often.
I'm about to go do a light workout tonight.

Thanks.
However, my excursion to the mall yesterday took a toll. Not that I
think I ate excessively, I didn't, but what I did eat was salty... and
I definitely didn't drink enough!
Up 4.5 pounds today. At least I know it's water.

Wow....that's quite a distance to get your car serviced and do some mall
shopping. My car would never get anything done if I had to drive that
distance. I sometimes think it's bad because my car dealer is 10 miles from
home :)
Walking on the treadmill doesn't bother my back but a few hours at the mall
always cause lower back pain. It must be the difference in walking
surfaces. Hope your back is feeling better. Mine feels much better today
and I'm even considering a bike ride Friday if the weather cooperates.
